AHL Legal has always been dedicated to raise legal awareness for Chinese communities in Australia. We have launched series of free lectures for international students, cooperating with various education institutes.

The purpose of this lecture series was to enhance the safety and wellbeing of international students and to give them safety advice on identified areas of concern. Because International students lack of awareness about personal safety, especially as the students tend to working higher risk occupations such as fast food outlets and petrol stations.

In 2008, AHL Legal firstly launched this series of lectures in University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), then held every year at the University of New South Wales (2011-2013). The most recent lecture was held at Oxford College (Sydney Specialty Language Centre) in August 2014.

Lecture topics include personal, transport, beach and vehicle safety. It also includes general information on how to report crime and further contacts.
